Our approach for the lighting of the facades of the new regional headquarters of the Crédit Agricole located on the Presqu'île, in Grenoble aims to amplify the architectural intentions of the Groupe-6 agency with which we collaborated at night.
We worked on the nocturnal identity of the site in a game of transparency and depth of field by seeking to enhance the three main planes that constitute the facades of the headquarters: the bark, the skin and the core.
On the outside, the white concrete modules stand out from the canopies in a sensitive way thanks to the light in order to show the thickness of the faults and seem to rest on the void without contact.
Next to them, the solid partitions are "mapped" with large luminous and graphic flat tints of organic-digital inspiration, subtly deconstructing the linearity of the façade elements.
Within the glazed cracks, luminous lines seem to levitate and vibrate slightly in a random way. They give a new impression of depth by investing the transparency according to an impression of successive fields.
We wanted to tell the passing spectators a story on the scale of the land, and propose a clever game between vibration and transparency, between the earth and the air...
