In detail

At nightfall, a " moonlight " atmosphere gradually envelops the fort and plunges it into a poetic night sublimated by the staging of the lighting.

Little by little, the light becomes " material" ; it plays with shadows and contrasts, projecting the site into a more dreamlike universe and dramatizing the different sequences of the walk through a progressive evolution of the lighting - its tints, its textures, its intensities, etc. -.

During cultural events held in the fort itself, on the Place d'Armes, this evolving light gives way to a more festive lighting, this time proposing polychrome and symbolic paintings.

The main part of the project was focused on light itself - as a design material and a vector of emotions - and the spearhead of the reflection was the notion of discretion: lighting materials and furniture, as integrated as possible, in order to make their presence forgotten in favor of the luminous emotions and the historical architectural characteristics of the newly rehabilitated fort.
