In detail

For this project, L'Agencelumière worked alongside the architects of Groupe-6, as for the hospital in Clermont-Ferrand.
On this occasion, the Hautepierre Hospital in Strasbourg, governed by the Paul Strauss Cancer Center and the University Hospital Center of Strasbourg, was equipped with two new extensions making up the new Regional Cancer Institute, for which we redesigned all the interior and exterior lighting.

With their imposing architecture, the two concentric buildings are set in a compact base and open up towards the interior of the site. Patients and visitors are welcomed via a wide forecourt and, to the south, part of the garden rises up to naturally serve the upper and lower accesses. In the heart of the block, the IRC is identified by the horizontal lines of its sunbreakers which follow the curve and by terraces in tiers to the south. The façade on Avenue Molière develops a ribbon of vertical stripes

The lighting proposed for this new entity focused on these structuring elements in order to highlight, at nightfall, the finally calmed architecture and to pleasantly accompany the health approach of patients and their own.
