At the heart of the Grand Paris Express transport network, connected to lines 16 and 17, the future operations center in Aulnay-sous-Bois will be part of a new generation of industrial buildings whose heart beats to the rhythm of the Capital.
Spread out horizontally on a plain, it includes several buildings of various scales and functions: maintenance and storage site (SMR/RSMR), infrastructure maintenance site (SMI), centralized command post (PCC).
At nightfall, the maintenance sites give a glimpse of their activity, playing on the transparencies. The functional light spreads, in total continuity, from the interior spaces to the exterior spaces, in order to accentuate the notion of transparency. This light, necessary for the night use, testifies of the life of the site, according to its progressive switchings on and off. The pulsation of the site's life is animated by the comings and goings of the automatic metro trains, whose lit interiors are like convoys of luminous lanterns.
Agencelumière was in charge of the design and the follow-up of the realization of all the interior lighting environments as well as part of the exterior spaces (jointly with Yann Kersalé's team in charge of a large marine "mammal" with slow and powerful breaths, the whole site vibrating with a shiver of light).
It also contributed to the enhancement of the openwork exterior façade along the motorized axis in order to bring an attractive aesthetic touch to this logistics building and to anchor it significantly in the urban landscape.
