Oran Olympic Complex - Algeria

The Oran Olympic complex includes a large 40,000-seat stadium and all the facilities needed to host an Olympic event: a nautical center, training stadiums, hotels, an Olympic village, etc. Soon to be a candidate for future Olympic Games, Algeria is demonstrating through this investment its ability to host national and international sporting and cultural events.

Within the framework of the project, L'Agencelumière was responsible for the lighting of all the stadium's spaces, from the lighting design of all the interior spaces (reception, VIP, tertiary, technical, etc.), to the night-time treatment of the surroundings and entrances. A special study was carried out on the integration of the sports projectors within the architectural structure.

Beyond the functional function of the lighting, the lighting allows the roof to be enveloped, making it physical and recognizable from afar, and to animate the public spaces that surround the stadium.
