In detail

Our project for the conception of the night scenography of the cathedral, the sacristy and the episcopal palace of Quimper reaffirms, through different lighting sequences, the cathedral as a place of rediscovery of a past architecture well integrated in the landscape of French cities.

Through specifically worked light effects, reflections of water, symbols of the meeting of the two original rivers of the city, appear progressively on the western facade, making it both more organic and less static.
Thanks to oriented light framing and clearly defined light flows, the lacework of the spires, the discreet presence of the lampshades, the colored transparency of the stained glass windows are revealed, at night, to the eyes of everyone who contemplates the building with contentment.
